Introduction to my thoughts on Net Neutrality:

The Internet, being a significant source of growth and entrepreneurial opportunities, needs no regulation to maintain its already large significance in modern society. I have chosen Net Neutrality because of the importance of its impact on the US economy at a time where economic freedom is the utmost of importance to the United States survival in a global market. I believe that instituting sweeping regulation changes to the Internet will ultimately take the choice and power out of the consumer’s hands, which have been the sole driving force for growth for the Internet. Because of the vast interconnected and complicated nature of the Internet, regulation would surely do nothing, but cause further confusion and complication for those wanting to capitalize from the Internet in a legitimate way.

Ubuntu 10.04 best desktop Linux distro ever...

I have tried a lot of operating systems over the past years since my interest in technology has peaked. I started out with Windows (like most) and didn't think much of it. I was then introduced to Mac OSX. It was beautiful, and worked well! But I could never stomach the cost. Then one day, I stumbled onto this weird operating system called Linux. I decided to investigate, and learned that not only was Linux totally customizable, but that it was FREE! I was a little bit flabergasted that anybody could offer a free OS. I then decided that I might venture into the world of Linux. 4 years later and many, MANY headaches later the best desktop Linux distribution has been born. Ubuntu 10.04! I have used every popular flavor of Linux including Fedora, Open SUSE, Linux Mint, Debian, PCLinuxOS, FreeBSD and a few more. Some excelled in certain areas, and some were horrible in others. I have used KDE and Gnome, and even no X term at all. Read on for WHY Ubuntu 10.04 beats them all!
